A Request

For those who might be so inclined, please keep our soldiers overseas in your thoughts and prayers. For all of them, and all of their friends and families who wait anxiously for their safe return. They are never far from my thoughts but now there's one more on his way over there who is extra special to me. I wish he could have his own guardian angel to watch over him but I will try to balance the worry with pride in what he'll do and the lives he'll touch. May their year fly by quickly, may their efforts make a difference, and may they all come home safe.
